If your farm is situated in an NVZ area, then the regulations have now taken full effect. There is now a significant set of records, manure calculations and plans that have to be kept in order to comply with the regulations, together with constraints on spreading periods and rates for farm manures and fertilizers.

- A fertilizer plan for the farm, taking into account manures applied

- The "N max" calculations to show that you have not applied too much nitrogen
- NVZ Risk map & storage of manures in field heaps
- Records of manures "imported" or "exported" from the farm
- Compliance with the rules on spreading organic manures - when you can and when you should not spread, the maximum amounts that can be spread
- Compliance with the rules on spreading fertilizer - when you can and when you should not spread, the maximum amounts that can be spread
