Okehampton Enterprise Club

What's it all about?
Enterprise Clubs are a new Great Britain wide initiative targeted at unemployed people interested in self-employment.

The main aim of the Enterprise Club is to help unemployed people in the community to make the most of local knoweldge and resources to become self-employed or start their own business. The Enterprise Club will provide a place to meet and exchange skills & knowledge, make contacts, share experiences, receive support and encourage each other to work through their business ideas. The Enterprise Club is very much about it's members which is why BIP will be working hard to make sure they get the information and support they want from the club. BIP will be inviting local professionals such as accountants, bank managers, marketing experts etc to be guest speakers over the coming weeks.

The Enterprise Club will also complement the support offered by the New Enterprise Allowance (available to people who have been receiving Jobseeker's Allowance for six months or more).

The Okehampton Enterprise Club was the first Enterprise Club to be formed in Devon.

When & where will the Okehampton Enterprise Club take place?
