West Devon Business Information Point monitors information relevant to running a business, providing a valuable source of reference for all its clients.
The most relevant updates are forwarded to all types of businesses through regular newsletters, which also carry sign posting to other projects and agencies that may be of help. Business information and opportunity fact sheets for businesses are also available, to inform business owners or people wishing to start a business of the requirements necessary to operate a successful and legitimate business.
In conjunction with IGER (The Institute of Grassland and Environmental Research) West Devon Business Information Point have produced fact sheets on a variety of subjects. These help Land based business owners to understand research that is pertinent to their business, leading to cost savings both financially and environmentally.
Agricultural Business Information Point (Agri-BIP) run seminars to assist farmers with new regulations on scheme e.g. Livestock extensification, nitrogen vulnerable zones and effects of subsidy change.
